Sawangan Beach

Bali is one of the icons of tourism in Indonesia, especially for foreign tourists. The beauty of Bali is undeniable, so it is considered appropriate to be a tourist destination. Precisely in the Jimbaran area, Badung Regency has several beautiful beaches that can fascinate us as visitors. 

On December 3, 2022, we from group 7 traveled to Sawangan Beach, located on Jalan Nusa Dua Selatan, Benoa, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali. The trip there took about an hour for someone who was there for the first time, so we took a lot of wrong turns. The beach is quiet and the atmosphere is calm, but we didn't worry because, actually, near the beach, there are several supporting facilities, such as an ATM of BNI, which is about 700 m from the beach, a Hilton hotel, and a bar right on the beach. Apart from that, there is also a lifeguard post, sawangan fisherman stall, temple, and a parking lot.

There are 2 access roads to Sawangan Beach, namely via the main Bypass Road and via the Goa Gong Road, which is quite extreme with several narrow and slightly steep paths. Traveling to this beach is also quite economical because we don't need to spend money to enter it, just bring parking money.

There are many activities that we can do at Sawangan Beach. The clear water and calm waves make us interested in swimming. The beauty of the stretch of white sand and clean beaches make this place suitable as a photo spot. Many honeymoon couples stay at the Hilton Hotel and enjoy the charm and beauty of the beach by walking on it.
